An invention I wish I could uninvent
ADS ARE THE WORST!!
Do you hate it when you're watching a TV show and it's got to a REALLY intense bit and they are about to reveal something shocking when suddenly it switches to AN AD!!!!!!!
The average AD lasts about 60 seconds and you have to watch at least 10 ads before you can get back to watching your TV show.
Pop-up ads are another type of ad….
Just like the name, they pop up at you.
Say you were on Youtube this time and you were watching the funniest video ever when suddenly an ad about toilet cleaning products pops up and ruins the funny video.
Don't get me wrong sometimes if you're lucky on Youtube there is a skip button where you can skip the ad but you still have to wait at least 5 seconds before you can go back to watching your video from there and sometimes there is no skip button and you have to wait at least 15 seconds to a minute!!!!
ADs sometimes advertise cool things that interest you like a book you want to read or a live show that's coming to your town/city but this is very rare because mostly they advertise useless inventions that are only helpful to about 20 percent of the world.
Honestly, I'd rather go to the stores and find out what's new for myself instead of watching ads with a voice droning on about how cheap the price is and you need to get this product now and how good it is which is really really boring.
